Cancellation and recovery

Cancel or force-stop safely, inspect authenticated interrupted evidence, and retry as a new reviewed run without fabricating continuity.

Performance Lab 26.9.0Unity 6000.0.79f1+Local-firstEvidence-gated

Cancel requests stop the active run through the supported run service. Force Stop is reserved for a stuck player process. Completed evidence is preserved; partial attempts never become valid repetitions.

If Unity quits or reloads assemblies during an active run, the authenticated run journal is marked RecoveryRequired. Performance Lab deliberately does not resume the benchmark from the middle because process, timing, cooldown, and machine state are no longer equivalent.

Reopen Tools > Kiwi Studios > Performance Lab > Scenario and Run Center. When authenticated interrupted evidence exists, the Recovery section appears automatically. Use Reveal Interrupted Evidence to inspect the preserved run directory or Retry Interrupted Run as New Run to load the journal-bound Run Profile and start a new reviewed run. The interrupted journal remains evidence and is never rewritten into a pass.

Still stuck?

Bring the exact evidence with you.

Include Performance Lab and Unity versions, the scenario and Run Profile, target and build type, environment identity, focused logs, and only the smallest replayable evidence needed to reproduce the problem.
