Release review
Actual-player UI QA
Review UI evidence from the player that will actually ship, while keeping structural and accessibility evidence explicit.
Evidence scopes
- editor structural and layout evidence;
- actual-player screenshots;
- actual-player structure and geometry;
- focus and navigation evidence;
- text, locale, theme, and other accessibility-state mutations.
Reviewed baselines
A baseline is accepted only after the exact screenshot, structure, masks, tolerance policy, target, player, locale, and theme are reviewed. A new capture does not silently replace the protected baseline.
Visual and geometry review
Image comparison supports explicit masks and tolerances. Structural evidence keeps target size, geometry, text, focus order, and state identity separate from raw pixels so a visual match cannot hide a structural regression.
Fail-closed states
Missing player evidence, unsupported capture capability, stale baseline identity, invalid structural evidence, or a target/environment mismatch remains blocked or unsupported. It never becomes a pass because an editor screenshot happened to look correct.
Review before sharing
Screenshots and structural text can contain product, customer, or project information. Keep evidence local by default and review attachments before exporting them outside the project.
